Adegoke Adekanla M.Sc
Adekanla is a development practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in programme management, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation gained across North America, Europe, Bangladesh, and Africa. She has successfully led teams at various levels of development cooperation and worked with donors and charities on conservation, wetlands management, water supply, sanitation, alternative livelihoods and conflict resolution programmes.
Adekanla’s career began with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation; she went on to the EU Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme where she worked as an Assistant Programme Coordinator. Most recently she was the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) / Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme.
She’s also worked with WaterAid Nigeria, British Council and been a consultant for USAID, EU-Micro Pilot Projects, CIDA, GTZ and Catholic Relief Services.
This is her second stint at Oando Foundation; she worked as the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Oando PLC and was one of the pioneer staff instrumental in the establishment of Oando Foundation in 2011.
Tonia Uduimoh
Tonia Uduimoh is a Community Development and CSR professional, with experience in indigenous and regional development spanning over 10 years. She has supported local and multinational private and social organizations such as Total Nigeria, Sahara Energy, and The Lady Mechanic Initiative to redefine their CSR objectives, sustainably design and implement projects, and ensure effectiveness and efficiency in project budgeting, quality control and return on investment.
Prior to her current role as Programme Manager at the Foundation, she was the Lead Education and Employee Engagement Specialist at Kasher Consulting; managing a large portfolio of community development and education projects focused on access and quality. She has also supported the implementation of education and health programmes for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nation’s International Children’s Emergency Funds (UNICEF), and the UK Department for International Development (DfID).
Tracy Akpofure
Tracy Akpofure is the Operations Coordinator of Oando Foundation and oversees the organization’s governance and administration. An efficient and competent professional with over 13 years’ experience, Tracy gained her experience within the Oil & Gas, Telecoms, and Development Sectors in Nigeria.
Prior to this role, Tracy was a Programme Officer at the Foundation between 2013 and 2016, effectively managing the implementation of the Adopt-A-School Initiative (AASI) in assigned states, and successfully implementing the pilot phases of the Early Childhood Care and Development center and ICT center components respectively.
She has managed numerous projects in her different roles over the years and garnered valuable experience in Corporate Services & Operations, Governance, Project Management and Administrative Management. Tracy obtained a BSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos.
Okechukwu Edeh
Okechukwu is a development professional with over 6 years’ experience with expertise in building sustainable communities through education programming, child protection system strengthening and community development. Prior to joining Oando foundation, he worked extensively in the child protection and community development sector, and also played an active role in driving the end Violence against Children campaign with UNICEF in Northern Nigeria.
He has worked on USAID and CDC funded projects for Orphans and Vulnerable Children which contributed to successes in the development and humanitarian sector in Nigeria. As a high performer, he has demonstrated commitment in supporting under-served communities in mobilizing local resources to improve lives and promote sustainable progress especially for children.
He holds a degree in Industrial Relation and Personnel Management from Caritas University Nigeria. His core competencies are in Community Development, Child protection and education programming. Okechukwu is extremely passionate about leadership and community development and is dedicated to ensuring access to quality education for all children regardless of their background or color.
